Founder
Dr. Amanda Webster is the visionary founder of LIR Medical Aesthetics, blending her extensive medical expertise with a deep passion for patient care in the heart of Bible Hill, NS.
Dr. Webster's medical journey began at Dalhousie Medical School, where she graduated in 2011. She went on to complete her residency at Dalhousie in 2013, laying a strong foundation for her medical career. Her early years were marked by dedicated service as a Medical Officer in the Canadian Military until 2018, where she developed a broad range of medical skills and a steadfast commitment to excellence.
After her military service, Dr. Webster transitioned to Family Practice in Bible Hill, NS, where she continues to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to her patients. Her expertise includes specialized training in Medical Botox for migraines, hyperhidrosis, TMJ, and other medical conditions, highlighting her dedication to enhancing the well-being of her patients.
Driven by a passion for aesthetic medicine and a desire to help others feel confident and beautiful, Dr. Webster founded LIR Medical Aesthetics. Here, she integrates her medical knowledge with an artistic approach, offering treatments that rejuvenate and renew. Her philosophy aligns with the spirit of LIR, emphasizing continuous renewal and personal transformation.
Dr. Webster lives in Valley, NS, with her husband and two daughters. When not caring for her patients, she cherishes spending time with her family and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and traveling. Her personal and professional life reflect her commitment to helping others embrace both their inner and outer beauty.

Emily Grue is a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse at LIR Medical Aesthetics, where she brings her extensive medical experience and passion for aesthetic care to our clients.
Emily began her nursing career in 2018 after graduating from Dalhousie University. Her early career was marked by gaining invaluable experience in acute and critical care settings, where she honed her skills and developed a keen eye for detail and patient care. This rigorous background provided Emily with a solid foundation in medical practice, preparing her for the precise and meticulous nature of aesthetic treatments.
In 2023, driven by her passion for beauty and wellness, Emily transitioned into the field of medical aesthetics. She completed comprehensive training both online and in-person through The Botox Course, and was mentored by leading professionals in the industry. This training equipped her with advanced techniques and a deep understanding of aesthetic medicine, ensuring she delivers the highest quality of care to her clients.
At LIR Medical Aesthetics, Emily specializes in microneedling and PRP treatments, skincare consultations, and chemical peels. Her approach is characterized by a commitment to personalized care and a dedication to helping clients achieve their beauty goals. Emily’s warm demeanour and professional expertise have earned her the trust and admiration of both clients and colleagues, making her an invaluable member of our team.
Outside of her professional life, Emily resides on the picturesque North Shore with her beloved dog, Kip. She enjoys the tranquillity of the coastal environment and is passionate about exploring the outdoors, reflecting her belief in the rejuvenating power of nature.
